A: I translate from Japanese to English.

Q: Do you translate from English to Japanese?

A: No. I am not a native speaker of Japanese (I am a native speaker of English). As such, I would not be able to provide a finished product which meets my own personal quality standards translating from English to Japanese.

Q: What are your rates?

A: As rates will vary depending on the type of document to be translated, its length, the ease with which the data may be accessed (e.g., locked PDF, Word file, etc.), and the time frame within which the translation must be completed (weekend vs. weekday, rush, etc.), I ask that you contact me via email with the information listed above as well as a sample or preferably the whole text of the document. I will be happy to give you a free, competitive quote within one hour. I also promise complete confidentiality.
